Tenerife Diving Academy is an SSI Diamond Instructor Training Center located in Abades, a small coastal village on the southeast coast of Tenerife. We focus on delivering high-quality diving experiences in small groups, whether you're joining us for guided dives, scuba courses, or professional training.

Our Approach
We aim to give every diver the best experience possible—whether it’s your first time underwater or you’re already certified. We believe that it is important to provide a relaxed environment where you can learn at your own pace. If you feel nervous or need extra time, our team is patient and there to help you feel comfortable and confident.
As we care about the environment we dive in, we regularly organize clean-ups in Abades and nearby areas to maintain a healthy environment for marine life.

- Our dive center is based in Abades, one of the most accessible and rewarding shore diving locations in Tenerife - with calm conditions, clear water, and excellent visibility throughout the year.
- Just a few minutes from the dive center, our house reef features volcanic formations and a wide variety of marine life. Regular sightings include rays, turtles, and even angel sharks.

Meet the team
Tenerife Diving Academy is run by two owners who left their successful office careers behind to follow their passion for diving in Tenerife. What started as a hobby quickly became a lifestyle and a commitment to sharing the underwater world in a more personal and meaningful way. With a strong belief in quality over quantity, they keep group sizes small to ensure every diver gets proper guidance and time in the water. The aim is not just to teach diving, but to build confidence and create enjoyable, memorable experiences underwater.
Csaba
- SSI Elite Instructor Trainer and Platinum Instructor - trained in Canada under the latest standards with SSI’s highest-level training leadership
- PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
- Before diving full-time, Csaba worked as a diplomat. Today, he brings a dynamic and structured teaching style, combining deep knowledge with a clear focus on helping divers progress with confidence.
- His favourite specialty is deep diving—where theory meets real adventure.
Levi
- SSI Assistant Instructor Trainer, Master Instructor and Gold Instructor
- Before joining the diving world, he spent over 20 years in architecture, working as a lead architect in two countries
- He has a calm and easy-going teaching style, making sure every diver feels comfortable. His approach balances solid training with relaxed, enjoyable dives—there is always space for fun and exploration
- His favourite specialties are Navigation and Search & Recovery, where precision meets play—combining problem-solving, challenge, and the satisfaction of finding your way underwater.
