Explore what lies beyond
Explore what lies beyond with our Deep Diving Course in Tenerife. The SSI Deep Diving Specialty Course teaches you how to plan and conduct dives safely to a maximum depth of 40 metres while building confidence, awareness, and control underwater. Deep diving opens the door to new wrecks, dramatic underwater landscapes, and marine life that many divers never get the chance to see. Whether you're looking to expand your diving opportunities or simply experience the excitement of deeper dives, this course is a valuable next step.
SSI Deep Diving Specialty: €299
This includes everything you need for the course. No hidden costs.
SSI Deep Diving Diving specialty & SSI Nitrox specialty: €399
Combine your Deep Diving Course with the Nitrox Specialty. Deeper dives naturally mean shorter bottom time. Diving with nitrox helps you extend your dive time and makes your dives safer.

You can join the SSI Deep Diving Specialty with an Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent from any recognised agency). You do not need to be an Advanced Open Water Diver to start the course.
The course includes SSI Digital Learning, instructor briefing, and the open water training dives. Each dive takes you progressively deeper than the previous one, allowing you to build experience and confidence step by step. Before every dive, we'll review dive planning, safety considerations, and the skills you'll be practicing so you feel prepared and comfortable underwater. Upon completion, you will receive the globally recognised SSI Deep Diving Specialty certification.
The course is ideal for certified divers who want to:

Many wrecks, walls and rock formations lie deeper than standard Open Water limit (18 meters) or the Advanced Open Water limit (30 meters). With the Deep Diving certification you will be able to dive safely to the maximum limit of recreational diving, 40 meters.
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
