Looking for relaxed, small-group or individual guided dives while on holiday in Tenerife? Our daily guided dives for certified divers are entirely about laid-back, stress-free exploration. Located directly on the beachfront of the protected Abades Bay, we offer stress-free fun diving focused on safety, local marine life, and excellent facilities.
Divers from all Training Agencies are welcome — We regularly welcome divers from all training organizations, including PADI, SSI, CMAS, BSAC, FFESSM, and FEDAS. Our guided trips are entirely about pleasure and exploration, and we tailor the pace completely to your comfort level and experience.
Please note: Guided dives are available only to certified divers (Open Water or above). If you don't yet have a diving certification, please book a Try Dive or a Basic Diver program instead
Our dive center is located right in front of Abades dive site. If you are planning to dive here, you will be able to enjoy Tenerife's favorite shore dive with our facilities, shower and spacious dive center.
While our Abades house reef offers plenty of diversity right outside our door, our guides regularly organize fun diving excursions to the most iconic dive locations along the southern and eastern coastlines of Tenerife, depending on your experience level:
We choose dive sites based on sea conditions, visibility, currents, marine life activity and the experience level of the group.

Our divers regularly encounter: green sea turtles, stingrays and butterfly rays, octopus, moray eels, trumpetfish, barracuda, cuttlefish, large schools of reef fish, angel sharks during the winter months. Our local guides dive these sites almost daily and know where marine life is most commonly found.

Tenerife offers excellent diving conditions all year round. Water temperatures range from a winter low of 20°C (68°F) in February to a summer high of 24°C (75°F) in September. Because of our volcanic seabed, visibility is famously clear, regularly averaging around 20 meters. We provide 5mm or 7mm wetsuits depending on the season to keep you completely comfortable.
You can regularly expect to see green sea turtles, stingrays, butterfly rays, octopuses, cuttlefish, moray eels, barracuda and large schools of reef fish. If you are diving with us during the cooler winter and spring months, we also frequently encounter endangered Angel Sharks resting on the shallow sandy patches.
Absolutely. Our home base in Abades features a gentle sandy slope and a sheltered bay, making it one of the most comfortable entry points on the island for newer or returning divers. We also offer Refresher Dives for divers who have not dived in a while.
Not necessarily. Under Spanish diving regulations, you only need a formal medical certificate signed by a doctor if you have any Yes* answers on this Medical Form.
Yes. Scuba diving insurance is a legal requirement for all certified divers across Spain. If you do not have diving insurance, we can issue an official DAN diving policy directly at our front desk instantly for €9 for a single day or €15 for two days.
