- We can provide free accomodation in shared rooms
- The training from Divemaster to Open Water Instructor takes 12 days. The evaluation is 2-3 additional days.
- We recommend that you add 2-3 days of preparation/practice prior to your training, where an experienced instructor will help you prepare for the training and consolidate your skills at demonstrational quality.
- Throughout the course, you'll practice briefings, presentations, in-water and classroom teaching.

Prerequisites & Requirements
Requierments for the Assistant Instructor Training
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Divemaster Certification from SSI or another agency
- Physician's Approval to Dive dated within 1 year of training completion date
- Pass the SSI Candidate water fitness evaluation
- Nitrox certification (can be included in your training)
- Proof of CPR, First Aid and Oxygen First Aid training dated within 2 years prior to training completion date (can be included in your training)
- Minimum 60 logged open water dives totaling 40 hours or more to start the program
- Minimum 75 logged open water dives totaling 50 hours or more to finish the program
Requierments for the Instructor Training
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Divemaster Certification from SSI or another agency
- Physician's Approval to Dive dated within 1 year of training completion date
- Pass the SSI Candidate water fitness evaluation
- Nitrox certification (can be included in your training)
- Proof of CPR, First Aid and Oxygen First Aid training dated within 2 years prior to training completion date (can be included in your training)
- Be an Open Water Diver or higher for at least 6 months prior to starting the Instructor Training Course
- Minimum 60 logged open water dives totaling 40 hours or more to start the program
- Minimum 100 logged open water dives totaling 65 hours or more before the Instructor Evaluation
