23 May World Turtle Day 2023

With today being World #Turtle Day, it’s the perfect opportunity to share one of our favourite images of a beautiful Turtle in #Abades Bay.

Turtles belong to one of the oldest groups of reptiles in the world and date back to over 200 million years ago.

There are seven species of sea turtles, and they are all considered either endangered or threatened so we are very fortunate to have regular sightings of #Turtles coming into the Bay for a mid-morning snack.
